When I lived in Los Angeles and wanted a bit of fatty scrumptiousness, I had to get a bacon, egg, and cheese crossaint with the most delicious cafe con leche, made with their special dark roasted coffee bean, Southern California has to offer. This little Cuban gem, around since 1975, is in the Silver Lake neighborhood on Sunset Blvd., and it is a must stop. You can't miss that purple building, but be patient when you try to find parking. It's very scarce. You might have to park a little ways, but it's worth it. They have fresh juices, other Cuban pastries and goodies, but I couldn’t seem to get past my number one combo.

And, did I mention that they also use the single origin cupping method. Yes! They make each cup fresh for every customer. I can't wait to return one day.
