Ingredients


  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup brewed Purity Coffee, chilled
  • 2 Tbsp. hulled hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp. nut butter (e.g.: peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter)
  • 1 tsp. fresh turmeric root, minced
  • Pinch of black pepper

Makes 1 serving. Per serving: 340 calories, 18 g total fat (3.5 g saturated fat, 0 g trans fat), 0 mg cholesterol, 37 g carbohydrates, 13 g protein, 8 g dietary fiber, 75 mg sodium, 17 g sugar, 1 g added sugar.


Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Drink immediately.

Tips


  • Brew coffee according to instructions, then let chill in refrigerator overnight.
  • One teaspoon of pure vanilla extract can be used in place of the whole vanilla bean. The fresh turmeric root can be replaced with 1/2 teaspoon of powdered turmeric.
